One of the first things you'll want to do in 10to8 is input your business details. Your business details are visible on your online booking page and tell your customers who you are and what you're offering them! It's therefore important to include all relevant information.
This guide explains how to input your business details in 10to8. To get started, head to 'Setup' > 'Business Details'.

Online Booking Page and Customer Communications
Business Details
Under the 'Business Details' section, you'll find fields for your business name, short name (for SMS), email address, phone number and website.
Use these fields to input the relevant information.
These fields can be understood as follows:
- Name: your business name
- Short Name (for SMS): the name of your business, as you'd like it to appear in your automated SMS communications from 10to8
- Email: your business email address
- Phone number: your business phone number
- Website: your business website
Online Booking Page and Customer Communications
Under the 'Online Booking Page and Customer Communications' section, you'll find fields for your business description, cancellation policy and privacy notice.
Use these fields to input the relevant information.
These fields can be understood as follows:
- Business Description: a description of your business; what do you do? What do you offer your customers? What can they expect from you? This is also a good place to add information on special offers, news, vacation periods and seasonal closures.
- Cancellation Policy: your policy on handling cancellations. 10to8 will autofill this field for you, but you're welcome to change it. How you decide to handle cancellations is entirely up to you!
- Privacy Notice: here you can input information on how you handle your customers' data and protect their privacy. For more information on steps you can take to be compliant with data protection regulations, click here to visit our security & compliance page.
A little further down, you'll find your country, language, timezone and currency fields.
If you'd like to change any of the options shown in these fields, click on the drop-down to select an alternative.
Additional Fields
Under 'Configuration' > 'Online Booking' > 'Booking Page' > 'Business Details', you'll find some additional fields.
Here you can input your social media links and your 'No slots support message'. Just like with the other fields referred to in this guide, the information added here will be visible on your booking page.
The 'No slots support message' refers to the message your customers see on your booking page when there are no available slots on their chosen date/time.
