This essentially means clearing out junk from your browser. Sometimes this junk can build up and affect the way that web pages load.
Note: clearing your cache and cookies may log you out of sites you're currently logged in to. If you'd prefer to clear data from just one page, you can try clearing the site data instead.

In Google Chrome
1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the browser window.
2. Head to 'More tools' > 'Clear browsing data'.
3. Choose a time range from the drop-down at the top. To clear everything, select 'All time'.
4. Select the boxes for 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files'.
5. Click 'Clear data' and refresh the page.
In Microsoft Edge
1. Click the three dots icon in the top-right corner of the browser window.
2. Select 'Settings' > 'Privacy & services'.
3. In the 'Clear browsing data' section, select to clear 'Cached images and files' and 'Cookies and other site data'.
4. Click 'Clear' and refresh the page.
In Firefox
1. Navigate to the menu bar at the top of the screen and click 'Firefox' > 'Preferences'.
2. Head to 'Privacy and security' > 'Cookies and site data'.
3. Click the 'Clear data' button and select 'Cookies and site data' and 'Cached web content'.
4. Click 'Clear' and refresh the page.
In Safari
1. Click 'Safari' at the top of the screen and then click 'Clear history'. Clearing history in Safari will also clear related cookies and other website data.
2. Select a date range from the drop-down, then click 'Clear history' and refresh the page.
