Sign In Scheduling offers an integration with Google Classroom, which is ideal for schools, colleges, universities and other types of organizations offering educational courses.
With this integration, you're able to import students from all of your Google Classroom classes into Sign In Scheduling. Sign In Scheduling will also show you the students' classes within their records, saving you valuable time when getting started.
This guide explains how to connect Google Classroom to Sign In Scheduling.
Note: to use this feature, you must be a Sign In Scheduling account administrator.
How to connect Google Classroom to Sign In Scheduling
To get started, head to 'Setup' > 'Apps', scroll down and then click the Google Classroom option under 'Education'.
You'll then be taken to Sign In Scheduling's Google Classroom setup page, where you'll be able to see your current sync status along with any other active connections.
To connect Google Classroom, click '+ Connect Google Classroom'. Google will then prompt you to sign in to your Google account. Then, follow the on-screen instructions.
Once connected, you'll be redirected back to Sign In Scheduling. On Sign In Scheduling's Google Classroom setup page, you should then see the option to 'Sync customers from Google Classroom'. Click on this button and wait for the sync to complete.
All students from your Google Classroom account (Including archived classes) will be synced to your Sign In Scheduling account.
Once the sync has been completed, you'll see a summary of the number of students synced from however many classes.
Under the 'Students' tab in the left-hand menu of Sign In Scheduling, you'll now see all students from your Google Classroom classes. Under the 'Google Classroom' section of their record, you'll see which classes they're part of.
How to disconnect Google Classroom from Sign In Scheduling
To disconnect Google Classroom from Sign In Scheduling, head to 'Setup' > 'Apps' and click on Google Classroom. As you've previously connected, you should see the option to 'Disconnect Google Classroom'. Click this to disconnect.
You'll need to be connected to Google Classroom if you want to import more students from there to Sign In Scheduling. You can reconnect by once again clicking '+ Connect Google Classroom'.
You can still delete all imported students and reconnect Google Classroom to import them again in the future.
How to delete all imported students from Google Classroom
To delete your imported student records from Sign In Scheduling, click 'Delete imported customers'. This will delete all of your imported student records and their future/past appointments from Sign In Scheduling. This will only impact student records that have been imported into Sign In Scheduling via the Google Classroom integration.
