Sign In Scheduling's booking notification emails keep your customers informed and have been proven to drastically reduce no-shows.
Sign In Scheduling's emails use tags. These tags make certain pieces of information appear in the messages.
By default, emails will use tags for recipient names and your organization name. Users on our Pro plan and above can freely edit the content of emails in Sign In Scheduling and add additional tags.
As well as email tags, Sign In Scheduling also utilizes SMS tags and voice reminder tags.

How to use email tags
To edit the content of your emails and add more tags, head to 'Manage' > 'Messaging' > 'For Customers'.
Scroll to the 'Email notifications' section and make sure they're switched on.
Click on the email notification you'd like to edit, then use the text box to make the desired changes and add more tags.
List of available tags
The email tags available for you to use within Sign In Scheduling are as follows:
- {{organisation_name}} - the name of your business
- {{recipient_name}} - the name of the person the email is sent to
- {{event_name}} - the name of the booked service
- {{datetime}} - the date and time the booking is due to start
- {{staff_name}} - the name of the staff member taking the booking
- {{customers_names}} - the names of all customers on the booking
- {{actor_name}} - the name of the individual who performed an action that relates to the booking
- {{manage_optin_links}} - a link to a page where your customer can manage their consent to receive messages
- {{outstanding_payment}} - any outstanding payment for the booking
- If you'd like to include answers to custom booking questions in your emails, there's a tag for that too. {{answers.xxxxxx}} (with the 'xxxxxx' being replaced with the number from the custom question's key) will populate the message with the customer's answer to the booking question(s) you choose.
