With Sign In Scheduling's voice bookings feature, you can offer your customers the option to book appointments over the phone, without the need for a person on the other end.
This helps to free up admin time for your staff and means no more lengthy hold times for your customers!
To enable voice bookings, you'll need to book a call with our sales team who will be happy to help you purchase a phone number.
This guide will explain how to use voice bookings, and how the process works.
How to use voice bookings
To enable voice bookings, head to 'Setup' > 'Phone bookings'.
When voice bookings are enabled, your customers will be able to phone a number and will be taken through an automated booking process.
They'll be prompted to select their desired service, location and timeslot. They'll then be asked for their details, and will be able to finalize the booking. Customers will make their selections by pressing certain numbers on the keypad.
If there's a problem with a voice booking
As we understand, collecting customer details over the phone is not always ideal.
AI (artificial intelligence) can sometimes misunderstand, leading to booking errors or miscommunication. To avoid this, Sign In Scheduling saves the voice recording from the voice booking so that a person can go in and fix any errors that occur during the booking process. You will be able to find this recording next to the booking (coming soon).
